The boundaries I’ve set up with my family have been helpful….people do adapt their behavior based on how you respond.

These sessions have been great at helping me realize where I’m making progress and where I need more progress…what’s going on? Why is it working? I’ve learned the questions to ask to get the results I want.

Going into my therapist search I spoke with quite a few people and scheduled initial appointments but after speaking with Kat I cancelled them all.

I’ve had quite a few therapists through the years and Kat’s the one I’ve stuck with the longest and gotten the most out of – even my wife notices, she’ll say – don’t forget you’ve got therapy – which is huge because she used to say – why are you still going to therapy? I don’t see any difference…

It's like looking in the mirror and not focusing on the negative but seeing the positive and the light and I would not be able to do that without Kat.

What I like best is Kat's approach - I go into the clouds and she asks me questions that ground me in reality.

Before therapy I was going to my friends who were also going through stuff - it was like a run on sentence - and therapy with Kat is like a period....the tools have been super helpful...put my head someplace else....tweaked how my brain works a little - instead of going directly for the negative I'm able to see the positive too.
