Angel Batra, PC-I
Angel (she/her) is a clinical intern currently pursing an Ed.M, a Masters of Education degree in Psychological Counseling at Columbia University. Angel believes holding compassion, love, intuition, honesty, knowledge, and empathy are important components to building the best possible therapeutic alliance with her clients and helping them in treatment. With her previous experience on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, Angel has worked with a wide population of individuals and couples suffering from various mental health disorders and struggles. Angel takes a multicultural, humanistic approach to her clients as to her each individual holds their own identities and is to be emphasized as a whole individual, from the root. The techniques she strives to use but not limited to are Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She hopes to use her skills for clients to come out of therapy and become their own best therapists.
